Safeway Contract Vote- Clarification

As voting on the recommended memorandum of agreement continues throughout the province, your Union wants to clarify the time frame that voting is allowed. Meetings are scheduled to start at 11 am and 6 pm in each location.

Voting will be allowed from 11 am to 1 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm only on the date of the meeting in each remaining area. You can vote at any of the meetings throughout the province.

It is very important that you vote on this recommended settlement. Do not leave it to someone else to make your decision for you.

If this memorandum is rejected, by those who vote, the Union will be serving strike notice for March 2, 2008.
