An Huynh
Retirement Announcement
January 2012

UFCW 401 member, An Huynh, worked his last day at McKesson Canada in Edmonton. He has decided to retire from McKesson after more than 30 years of service, and membership in the Union. An started his career with the company when it was called Northwest Drugs back in 1981. He saw two changes in company ownership during that time; initially with Medis Pharmaceutical taking over in the late nineties, and then a few years later with McKesson Canada. An celebrated his last official day at work with many of his co-workers along with a pot-luck dinner. Several of his close and senior co-workers presented An with a UFCW Local 401 retirement ring, and he was also given a special retirement gift from McKesson Canada management. Thinking ahead to his retirement, one of the first things he is planning to do is visit his homeland, Vietnam — he says he hasn't visited there for many years.

Congratulations An on your retirement!
